1. Information We Collect

• Account data: phone number, auth identifiers, and basic sign-in metadata
• Profile data: name, date of birth, photos, prompts, pronouns, identity and faith preferences
• Location data: coordinates used for nearby discovery and city shown on profile
• Interaction data: likes, passes, Super Likes (roses), matches, and messages
• Safety data: reports, moderation metadata, and blocked-contact hashes
• Purchase data: subscription status, consumable purchase verification, and entitlement balances
• Device/app data: push tokens, app version/runtime info, and basic diagnostics

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide account authentication and secure access to your account
• Power discovery ranking, compatibility, likes, matches, and messaging
• Apply safety features such as blocking, reporting, and abuse prevention
• Deliver notifications for likes, matches, messages, and account events
• Manage paid features such as Pro and Super Likes entitlements
• Operate, maintain, debug, and improve app reliability and performance

3. What We Never Do

• We NEVER sell your data to third parties
• We NEVER share your sexual orientation or gender identity externally
• We NEVER link to or scrape your social media accounts
• We NEVER share your exact GPS coordinates with other users
• We NEVER display your phone number to other users
• We NEVER use your data for targeted advertising
• We NEVER store your contacts, only SHA-256 hashes for the block feature

4. Incognito Mode

When enabled, Incognito Mode makes your profile invisible to everyone except users you have already liked. This provides an extra layer of privacy for users who want complete control over who can discover them. No traces of your browsing activity are ever visible to other users.

5. Contact Blocking

The Block Contacts feature lets you prevent people in your phone contacts from seeing your profile. We hash contact phone numbers using SHA-256 on your device before sending them to our servers. We never store raw phone numbers from your contacts.

7. Data Storage and Security

We use encryption in transit, protected cloud infrastructure, and row-level data access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously improve safeguards for sensitive profile, message, and purchase data.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. When you delete your account, ALL data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

• Profile information and preferences
• All photos from cloud storage
• Messages and match history
• Interaction history (likes, passes, Super Likes)
• Blocked contact hashes
• Reports you have submitted

9. Reporting and Safety

All reports are anonymous. The reported user will never know who reported them. Report data is only accessible to the safety team and is used exclusively for enforcing community guidelines.

10. Your Rights

• Access personal data we hold about you

• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

11. Children and Age Restriction

Jasur is restricted to users 18 and older. We do not knowingly permit minors to use the service.

12. Changes to This Policy

We will notify users of any material changes to this Privacy Policy via in-app notifications. Continued use of Jasur after changes constitutes acceptance.
